Who is Neil Downing?

 

 Neil has been helping clients with their mortgages, remortgages and house purchases since 1979. He started his career at the Halifax Building Society. He has been an Independant Financial adviser for over 11 years and has also spent 5 years as an estate agent. For the last 5 years he has worked for himself as a Mortgage Adviser specialising in residential mortgages and personal protection.

By utilising his years of experience he is not only able to find you the most suitable mortgage, but he will also help you with the whole house buying and remortgaging process, including negotiating the price and reductions in the price, after the valuation. His clients have saved thousands of pounds by having Neil deal with the agents.

He believes that  it is essential that buyers arrange their mortgage independently of the Estate Agent as he feels that there is a definite conflict of interest, as their main priority is to get the best price for their vendor (seller) and they can not do this if they are also arranging your mortgage.
